Highlander: The Raven

Oh, Highlander. So 90s with the slow motion for dramatic emphasis! I forgot how you had a growling tiger sound added to the emotional scenes. I realize Amanda's first episode of Highlander was The Lady and the Tiger, but you do realize that she wasn't actually the tiger in the episode? Right?

Nick chews the scenery more than just about anyone. So hilarious. The fanfic writers made him far more interesting than he ever was (to me) on the show.

I also appreciate that it gave Amanda a few levels up in badass with her swordfighting ability. I was getting awfully tired of the "manipulates Duncan and/or other men into killing for her" implications of several eps of the main series.

I had forgotten how delightfully cheesy the Quickenings were. So cheesy!

ETA: Oh, 90s! Back when your male lead could kick his way through a woman's door when she's told him to go away three times, and then he can point a gun at her guest (admittedly a homicidal Immortal) and it's considered just a thing an alpha male does, not some kind of sign of a defect in the male lead. (And he's holding his gun sideways, just like every good ex-cop does!)
