A random thought about scents and smelling I just had, based on
recessional's
post about perfumes and how they mostly just smell like 'perfume': I really love the nasacort I'm on for keeping my sinuses clear and unblocked, but it's amazing how dull it makes my sense of smell at the same time. I've had to go off it for a while, because I'm getting
a whole bunch of blood clots in my nose from sores caused by the nasacort, which is a thing that just happens sometimes, and I'd forgotten how much I like to smell things.
(I keep refreshing Amazon, staring at those
fountain pens I posted about yesterday. I keep hoping Amazon will put them on sale.)
Anyway, you should really read
recessional's post if you wonder why people complain about scented candles or can't stand having air fresheners near them. (Spray Lysol is death. I wish I were kidding. I cannot actually breathe properly when that stuff is in use and I would point-blank refuse to order it as office supplies at my last position.)
