Forever Knight Ficathon

Are you a fan of early 90's cop shows? Do scantily clad victims of the week, shrewd deduction based on semi-obvious clues, morbidly sardonic coroners, youthful rookies and souvlaki-eating detectives sound appealing? (Especially the morbidly sardonic coroners.)

Are you a fan of early 90's vampire shows? Do the semi-incestuous familial dynamics of medieval proto-Belgian crusaders, Roman generals, Spanish conquistadors and French maybe-noblewomen (especially the French maybe-noblewomen), and their period-appropriately dressed victims of the week seem right up your alley?

(An alley of crime, one filled with scantily-clad victims of the week, the major unifying theme of both genres.)

Then clearly you either have been or should be watching Forever Knight. Because that's one hell of a crossover audience for a show.

In all seriousness, it's an amazing show if you love interpersonal dynamics and intriciately detailed characterization and relationships. The cop plots are a hook for the dramatic meat of the series, which is the connections that the vampires form with each other and the humans around them. (That's in the most basic sense. If you want to talk specifics, we can, but there are as many "main thrusts of the series" as there are people who watch it, depending on what you're interested in.)
