Oh, fandom. I missed you!
So last night, I edited and uploaded my last paper, and then settled in to watch four hours of television, also while reading a book for actual fun. It felt pretty good not to have to worry about schoolwork.
I watched the latest Doctor Who (Clara, I could not love you more), Warehouse 13, and two eps of Vampire Diaries from January. (No, seriously, I'm like nine eps behind on TVD.) Still giving that show the side eye in a big way.
Elena's whole sire bond issue is still making her not act like herself, but she still honestly believes that she is acting like herself. Even though everyone she knows and would normally trust (except Tyler) is telling her otherwise. And Bonnie is messed up because Shane is a creepy manipulator, and this whole 'expression' thing is making her go very, very dark side. So out of the original trio of BFFs, Caroline is the only one who is seeing clearly right now.
The only person who's even close to listening to Caroline is Stefan, who is also not able to see clearly.
Damon wants what he wants, which is Elena, and he apparently can't resist temptation. Jeremy is doomed (I'm spoiled thoroughly), and Matt is there to be vampire bait. He serves no other function in the story except to highlight that Elena is messed up in the head. Tyler is screwed up, because of many good reasons.
Ugh. I need to catch up. If nothing else, I can snark more knowledgeably on the show that way.
ANYWAY. I've been having fun being fannish. Now all I have to do is catch up on TVD. And Revenge. (And all my other shows.)
