So, there's that. (Diablo III, that is.)

With Yuletide done, I have installed my shiny new copy of Diablo III (purchased with Target gift cards given out by my attorneys) and tested it this morning in the five minutes I had between getting ready for work and having to head out the door. Imagine my surprise when the female version of the wizard loaded up and Grey DeLisle's voice came out of my speakers. I swear, I thought she was going to be on a quest to find her "dear brother ZuZu."

I am totally playing her as a fire mage, though. I haven't looked at the power trees yet; I am entirely unspoiled on the game. But in Diablo II, the sorceress could cast lightning too.

I am vastly amused that the female witch doctor (I know, I do) is voiced by Keesha from Magic School Bus, and the male witch doctor is J'onn J'onzz. (Okay, he's Carl Lumbly, who has a long-term acting career, but when I hear his voice only, he's J'onn J'onzz in my mind.)

Basically, the voice cast is amazing, and I was staying so unspoiled I had no idea until this morning.

The kidlet is hoping for a low homework night; I promised him that he could create a character too.
