In the continuing adventures of What Is Havoc Doing With Her Fandom Life
So. I am not going to have a blank entry today! Or I'll try not to, at least.
I've been having a hard time writing my Altlivia and Olivia telepathy fic. It's hard to get inside Olivia's head. Plus I have three or four stories to edit and post. All my grand plans for fic for
halfamoon fell to the wayside when I got sick. That happens a lot to me. Stupid immune system. BUT ANYWAY. I have fic. Which I will post. Soon. I hope.
I also signed up as an author for
sgareversebang, and
paian created some femslash art that I'm writing for. I'm super excited! I hammered out the basics of a plot and now I need to sit down and start writing. My notebook has a blank page I've been staring at for a while. Finding a beginning point is always difficult. I'm debating how many details to give. But I think it's going to involve time travel and the Ancient/Wraith war. Plus fixing season four bullshit.
One of these days, I should watch more than two episodes of season four SGA. Maybe. But I'm so bitter! I can't even watch my favorite eps from earlier seasons without getting cranky.
I've been reading a lot lately. I remembered how much I like Sharon Shinn's novels when I was at the library the other day, and I've been slowly requesting them all. Mr. Havoc is getting Game of Thrones from the library; we'll probably watch the tv series eventually. I just plan on getting well and truly spoiled in advance.
I'm in a bit of a tv watching drought lately. The Voice is enjoyable, but Top Chef is over, Fringe is on hiatus, as are TVD and TSC, and Leverage isn't going to be starting up again until July. I have other shows I watch and enjoy, but those are the big ones lately. Once Upon a Time has been a little frustrating, what with its slow pace, so I'm going to wait and marathon a bunch of episodes.
Still, I get into work and I log in and I start working and it basically doesn't stop. Which kind of sucks. But I can make the time to post.
