This is not the fandom post I had intended to make.
When one has "Winter Wrap-Up" and the Forever Knight opener that Lacroix monologues stuck in one's head, it is inadvisable to mix the two of them up. Otherwise, one might get crossover ideas that prove one is in desperate need of a vacation.
And by "one" I mean that it was totally me, duh, and also, would the image of Nightmare Moon, the goddess of night and vampire ponies who has been locked away within the moon for a thousand years (Celestia, sweetie, that is the worst grounding ever) and who returns to Equestria and joins the police force of Ponyville in order to repay pony society for her sins and make up for-- I don't know, not understanding that friendship is magic? Rarity totally owns the Raven. But with a name like that, Fluttershy is the bartender.
Someone help me? Please?
She was brought across in 1228. Preyed on ponies for their blood. Now she wants to become mortal again. To repay society for her sins. To return from her world of darkness. From her endless forever nightmare."
So. Um. Anyone have any Nightmare Moon or Princess Luna icons they're willing to share? Shut up.
ETA: So, in this Princess Luna icon, she's holding an apple in her hooves and eating it. Using her hooves to hold it. Friendship is one kind of magic, sure, but how the hell can they get anything done without opposable thumbs? (Sparkly nighttime unicorn-pegasus-pony goddesses get more magic than your average unicorn, admittedly.)
