Forever Knight & Highlander Writing Question
How do you introduce your flashbacks in fic? I used to just throw italics around the entire scene, along with putting some written indicators that it was a flashback (and a header to the scene, which I didn't do for present day scenes), but I had a couple betareaders eye me askance for doing so.
Which means I could use some suggestions, as my temporarily-abandoned
fkficfest story has just gone into flashback territory. Mind you, this is the fic that's no longer for
fkficfest (thank you so much, uterus, for screwing that up for me), and will probably be posted for the afterparty at
fkcommentfic instead.
