I don't understand why this fandom has not produced REAMS of femslash, seriously (it's produced reams of boring, badly-written Gemma/Kartik).
I'd just read the first book shortly before sending in femslash07 prompts, so I actually need to find the fandom now. (There seem to be no decent LJ comms for that, sadly.)
Re: Gemma/Kartik, I-- Meh. I don't know, maybe it's that Kartik hasn't been fleshed out that much, but he's boring, and Gemma has ten times more chemistry with Felicity, or even Ann, than she does with Kartik. (I don't see Gemma/Pippa, but Felicity/Pippa? Oh, yes.)
I totally didn't expect to get AGATB fic at all, so it was a delightful surprise.

I'd gone to your journal to see if you'd posted a letter to your assigned author-type thing, and I remember you commenting somewhere that you thought you'd been matched according to your major fandom. I have to confess, I had a minute or two of amusement, as I'd actually offered to write three of the fandoms you'd requested, and the only reason I couldn't write Tortall fic was because it's been entirely too many years since I've read any of the books.
BTW, do you mind if I friend you now? I find your journal interesting, and I couldn't friend you before, as I thought it might scream, "Hi, I am your femslash07 writers! Nice to meet you!" ;)
There isn't much of a fandom outside of ff.net and a semi-active LJ community that's primarily populated by the Official Target Age group (some of them are excellent artists) and which doesn't have much fic.

EXACTLY. I don't really see Gemma/Pippa, either, although a good writer could probably convince me, but the Gemma/Felicity, Felicity/Pippa triangle is SO much more sparky and exciting than stereotypical Dark and Mysterious Kartik.
I had a minute or two of amusement, as I'd actually offered to write three of the fandoms you'd requested, and the only reason I couldn't write Tortall fic was because it's been entirely too many years since I've read any of the books.
Wow, I'm surprised! I got matched on Firefly alone with my recipient (as I predicted), even though it's not really one of my fandoms. Heh. Matching algorithms are a great mystery to me.

You overestimate my awareness of why people add me, especially since I've been on Star Wars, Tortall, and meta adding sprees lately. :) Anyhow, of course, no need to ask, be aware that I am 95% Star Wars focused for the foreseeable future (although I expect to go back to being multifannish again at some point), etc.
