Yes, Sophie definitely is a criminal mastermind! Even if her plans go a bit astray, but she's very, very good at the long con or long-term planning and waiting anyway. And I love Maggie's thoughts about getting involved with Sophie.
And the thing is, all their plans end up going a bit astray (even Nate's); they're just a very adaptable group. So I think Sophie definitely still is up there. The scary thing is that this is a group that has three people who have demonstrably stepped up and taken the lead now, even if two of them don't normally choose to (Eliot and Sophie), and I think it gives them a huge advantage.
Plus Sophie's ability to do long-term planning is astounding. We've seen it in each season, and it's just wonderful to think about what Sophie's ( ... )

I love that they both agree not to tell anyone. And the wine and Sophie with her head pillowed, and, and. *flails* This is totally awesome. *bounces gleefully*

As to telling anyone, if Sophie told Parker, then Parker would forget she's not supposed to say (or just not realize it) and accidentally tell someone. I'm not even going to imagine what Nate, Eliot, and Hardison would say.
