THis is just what I needed today! I loved it - Cadman was awesome, and the rescue was great! My favorite part, however:

"What now?" asked John. He had one hand resting on Elizabeth's thigh, but the other held her hand in a grip so tight it almost hurt. Almost. Instead, it grounded her. It kept her in this moment, with John. She felt, for the first time since they'd returned to Atlantis, the sick fear start to dissipate. She'd lived with it every moment on Belka since their negotiations went sour.

Some days, that fear felt like it would be her constant companion. Not tonight, not any more.

"Stay the night," said Elizabeth. "We can talk in the morning."

I loved the calm, quiet ending to this. Thank you for sharing, it was well worth the wait.

Cadman rocks my world. Have you been watching Eureka this season? Jaime Ray Newman has seriously been rocking it there as Tess Fontana.

I'm also glad the ending works! I was hoping it was a nice contrast to the wackiness and snark before that, not that it was a disconcerting 180 degree turn.

Oh, I just loved the ending. It works perfectly, IMO. One would need the quiet and the calm after all the action (and snark. Snark was great!)

I haven't seen one ep of Eureka. Another show I have to put on my watch list, which is cool! Right now I'm in love with "Bones".

Bones is awesome. I have to finish watching season four so I can move on to season five. Hopefully s4 will be on sale on DVD some time soon.

Eureka is also awesome, and full of the really good crack. I predict that you'll adore Allison from the beginning. Also! Many amazing and well rounded female characters!

Bones has awesome female characters! I just adore Angela, however Cam and Brennan rock too. I'm watching S2 ATM and I'm very tempted to try my hand at writing Bones fic.

No, of course not! You pick one of the prompts you're given, and write a 500 word minimum fic based on that single prompt. You could write more if you wanted, but you're not required to.

Oh, I'll check your recs, definitely! I'm watching several Bones comms for some time now, and I found few authors I like, but they mostly write Booth/Brennan - which is lovely, but I'd like to read Angela/Brennan friendship, or Angela/Hodgins (so adorable!) or simply funny gen fic, because those guys are awesome, ship or no ship.

Okay, I'll try to come up with some prompts and tentatively sign up. I'll probably screw up my asignment too :P

My crossover plot bunny? It's pretty simple. There's a Wraith on Earth and Team Sheppard is looking for him, and in the meantime Booth and the Squints are dealing with weird murder case(s). It's inevitable for two teams to meet and then hilarity ensues. I think Hodgins will have a field day with his conspiracy theories. Verbal duel between zach and Rodney should be fun! And also Brennan meeting Kate and Elizabeth.... oh the possibilities!

Booth/Brennan is lovely, and practically canon, but I'm not really there for Booth. Also, I like Hodgins better. He's snarkier.

Yup, B/B is lovely, but there is so much more to this show than awesome almost canon ship, because everything about it is even more awesome (can you tell I adore them? Hee!). Hodgins rocks! I love when he and Zach snark at each other.

Okay, I shall give my x - over a try, but first I'm gonna finish up a smutty piece I'm working on now :P
