Oh, yes! See, SG-1 would have to work for Hathor (and Nepthys, OMGCREEPY), which means they might get sent offworld to do her dirty work. Which would give Sam ample time to be possessed by Jolinar, so she'd run off and join the Tok'ra, and then run away from them (with a de-snaked Vala!) to steal a ship, become space pirates for a while, and then start heading up a rebellion on Earth.

Which would have to be primarily female, because while Hathor has access to nishta (otherwise that wouldn't have worked on Janet), I'm thinking women are a little more resistant to Hathor's charms. Or something like that. *handwaves and promises to come up with a reasonable explanation later*

So Kate would be working at the SGC from early on, and she and Teal'c would be Sam's inside moles. And they'd work with Maybourne and the NID/Trust would be the good guys, for once. Which is weird in and of itself. Possibly they'd contact the Russians, because Colonel Chekov and Marina Sirtis' characters should really be brought back.

And Hathor would find Isis and Osiris, and force poor Sarah to release them, thereby getting Sarah still snaked with Osiris. I'm thinking poor Lizzie would get snaked with Isis, who would be a queen too (thereby making Hathor, Nepthys, and Isis all three queen Goa'uld on Earth).

And then Apophis and Amaunet can attack Earth in a hissyfit, as they're wont to do. Plus Ba'al is all, "Dude, no, I want that planet for MYSELF. There are Ancient artifacts there!"

Thus setting off a race to find Atlantis between the Tok'ra/Tau'ri rebellion; the Hathor, Nepthys, and Isis alliance (where Osiris and Set are really freaking cranky that they're not In Charge Here Damn It); Apophis and Amaunet; and Ba'al.

...and that's as far as I got.

Let's see if I ever write it, that's the thing! Though it's saved to a Word document just in case.

Some day, maybe? Since the Gateverse seems not to be releasing the death grip it has on my soul.

...unsurprisingly, since it's me, it all focuses on the women. It's not like the guys wouldn't be there. But still.

You're ridiculous. In the most amazing way possible, though.

And of course Ba'al would totally be trying to decide which of the pretty he wanted to tap and in what order (or he might opt for trying to convince them that a bit of group negotiations were in order).

Oh, I would totally have nasty, bad, GOOD thoughts and ideas for writing in that AU.

Ba'al would be open to tapping any and all of the pretty there, except that part where he presumes the pretty would want to tap him? Might be totally off. I have this vision of the Goa'uld where the child-bearing queens rule the roost. And I can totally see Nepthys/Janet and Isis/Lizzie making Hathor split the world into thirds in exchange for some pretty necessary help.

Oh, I would totally have nasty, bad, GOOD thoughts and ideas for writing in that AU.

You do? SHARE!

Did you ever write this sequel? Your notes have me intrigued.
