Went to Rain Furrest for the first time, had an ok time it was good to be there with Jared. Seen Aphinity hard at work, he is an extremely devoted and diligen worker ( a rarity by todays western standards )
Also ran into Sasha and Freefox, these people were great to talk to :) both are very passionate about what they do which was a thrilling change to most of the people I was running into.
I seen alot people getting together laughing and just having a good time :3 It's definitely a recommended con for the general furry audience.

In other news me Derek and Jared went to the orchid ensemble concert last night, we got free tickets because our land lords are in the band. It was bloody fantastic! so much fusion of culture, music and history mashed into very organic pieces of music :3
Derek also won a moon cake for the moon festival, moon cakes are tasty!

This guy is a composer and also belonging to a cinigog, he was able to give us a brief history on how the jewish people migrated to china and formed inner city communities. The music is about the fusion of chinese and jewish tradition instruments dating back to 700AD
The guy on the left was pretty amazing, apparently he has 200 instruments under his belt + throat chanting which we got to hear :) The one on the right is John our landlord whom plays precussion instruments which looks really skilled when he really starts going.
