According to the NY Times Science section, which, granted, is not always the most reliable source of information, sciencists have created a "Cloak of Invisibility!"

I just read about that too, on the Scientific American site - as of now, apparently they can build a circular thingy that can partly bend a certain wavelength of microwave radiation around it. No visible light, yet, but still cool and promising. And I was debating making a post about it, partly because of what happened while I was reading it: I had just enough time to read "Now you see it" at the beginning of the caption under an image before one of those #$%^&*() ads that jumps in front of the content jumped in front of it. Couldn't see it anymore!
