Displacement and Disilussionment in California
The state of my life right now is what one would consider lackluster, I waste time on trivial things and spend little to no time on things that would actually matter. However, there is one exception to my laziness, My band Falling to Grey. I have been working hard to make the best of my time with them, whether it be singing or helping create more songs. Today Colt(my band's bassist, and just about the only person I've really "hung-out" with for the last three months) and I are going to go look for jobs at a certain amusement park that I will not mention the name of. The boys in FTG are pretty much awesome to be around, because we work so well together and have many different musical background, yet each of us have a way to tie in with one-another. The people that have heard us play said that they really like what they have heard, but there are the people who positively annoy me when asking of our musical genre. I then proceed to feel disgust with that person, due to not being able to understand that we do not really want to be classified with very small and insignificant names. Well, to get off my soapbox, I guess I should tell about my other activities. Recently I have been making a lot of artistic contributions to my room. I would never call myself anything more than a musician, although I like to create abstract works, I still do not want to be called an artist. I believe that in order to be an artist you have to have a niche to fit into, I by far do not have one and never will; so long as I can help it.
To get off the subject of me and my opinions, I would like to start another paragraph. You should all see "Smokin' Aces," because of the mass amounts of gunplay.... among other things. As a cheap plug, everyone that attends Oak Grove High School should go to the theater when they put on the play within the next two months. To get back on my vanity issues, AGAIN, I need black eyeliner, are any of you nice people willing to supply me with some? it does not matter what kind it is, well maybe it does, I don't like liquid eyeliner. So, I guess this is a goodbye until later, Have a nice day people of MySpace.
