David-tennant.com Commission - Mr and Mrs Saxon
A few months ago david-tennant.com had an auction to raise money for a hospice in memory of David Tennant's mother.
One of the items auctioned was a commission for artist Pete Wallbank to create a peice of high quality Doctor Who related artwork.
Well I won and Pete has been toiling away on my behalf for some time and put in some rea
lly astounding time and effort to make this for me.
My choice was for a picture of Doctor Who's hottest couple, the Saxons.
So here is the finished work which arrived in the post this morning. Pete has included several preliminary sketches as well to show the process of creating this piece.
Needless to say I am thrilled with it and extremely greatefull to Pete for his time and effort. And I'm also glad that a very good cause could benefit from this auction, it was nice to do my bit
