i have to keep anything that has traces of my dad because he is dead and there will be no new memories. if (and probably when) i forget these ones i will have nothing left so how can i be asked to throw them away?
and i like to keep anything that has positive teacher comments. anytime i put in a bit of effort and i got positive comments it was always something to the tune of "this is the kind of work i always knew you were capable of". so i keep them just so i know that i am able to do something right and good once in a blue moon. and that maybe now, like then, people still have faith in me even though i give them no reason to have any.
