If you're not following Mike Sizemore (writer, I think mostly tv) on twitter (@sizemore) or at his blog, you should fix that. He's intelligent, funny, and just a little bit nuts. Y'know, the kind of guy who ends up being friends with John Rogers and Warren Ellis. He's working on some really cool stuff, like a show called Slingers that I think I linked to the sizzler for... If I didn't, hunt it down. (ETA: You can find it here.) It's worth it, very Firefly meets Ocean's 11. He made the comment that he'd be wanting to bring Mark Sheppard on to it as a guest, cos oh yeah, that's another amazing person he's friends with.

I sold you on him yet? Good.

In the meantime, his keeping himself amused on his blog has led to some amusement on my part.

First, the fun thing. The opening of Firefly re-imagined a bit. David pointed out that it's very Airwolf, and Sizemore pointed out that they forgot Simon. I guess maybe it was a timing issue? Either way, awesomeness. (here)
