My suitcase is packed (barring cords, toiletries, and formalwear), I've got my clothes for Thursday morning set out and the only things to worry much about are printing things off tomorrow when I get checked in online and my shower either tomorrow or Thursday morning. It's so close to time to leave I can nearly taste it.
Many, many thanks in advance to
greyrider and T, who will check in on the cats while David and I are gone. Not that I don't trust B, but I don't trust B. And they can tell with all the fuss that we're gonna be going somewhere.
But all this is to say, there may or may not be posts from me this weekend. I've never been to a proper con, and don't know yet if I'll lug Mozzie (the PC) around, or if amongst all the activities I'll make good use of Parker (the iTouch). If you don't hear from me - don't worry, yeah? I'm not sure I'll be big on the recap either.
I've promised to tweet a bunch, though, so if you're curious about how things are going, head on over and take a peek at
@havenward.
In the meantime, I'm trying out the new show Justified on FX. It had caught our attention, but what sealed the deal was Amy Berg pimping it this afternoon on Twitter.
Timothy Olyphant plays the lead, and it's perfect. The opening scene was enough to sell me on the show, to be honest with you, but the way Olyphant plays him reminds me of Eliot Spencer with a badge and just enough Neal Caffrey thrown in to make him one slick son of a bitch. I'm enjoying it so far.
Now. Where did my muses go? I have some Alice/Leverage I need to get around to...
