My laptop came in! And a full day before my mother said it would (granted, this was the delayed shipping date, but HEY, I have it!)!!!
I have named him Mozzie. He's a black Dell Studio 15, and he is shiny and I promise to takes very good care of him. He also came with Windows 7, and having used XP, Vista, Ubuntu, and Mac, I have to admit I'm pleased with it so far, even if I still have a preference for Mac. (This has as much to do with their durability as the operating system, and granted, I'm on Tiger, so I can't speak to Snow Leopard either.)
So here's a glimpse of how I'm running his desktop... The background rotates, as does the image widget. You'll notice I have gorgeous steampunk styled dock icons on the top as well. :far too pleased: Just click if you want to see it larger.
