Quick status update
We're about a week out from the end of the month, and I realize I hadn't posted a word meter for a few days, so I figured I'd take stock of where I'm at now.
I'm on my last assignment for my intermediate course... It shouldn't be too hard, per se, I've already done the outline for it. I've also got to do the revisions for my last assignment (which was a 3/4). Hopefully I'll hear back from the prof about whether or not he tried the recipe out, and what he thought. He seemed to think it'd be delicious... and considering I'd eaten it? It was amazing. So long as I didn't forget anything! I wonder if I'd lose points if I did, or if I'd simply need to do another revision...
I have no idea what the advanced portion of the course will be like. I know that there's an actual, physical book required for that one... Uh. Hopefully I'll have the money to pick that up before I actually start it. Although I could try and look it up at the university library. Fingers crossed, yeah?
Tomorrow we're going to have greyrider and T over for dinner... David's got a shepherd's pie recipe he wants to try out on us. Mmmmm, can't wait... I'm making myself hungry just thinking about it...
Strays has been chugging along nicely lately. I've realized that I need to break up the POVs a little more evenly as I go, because of where the POV will have to be for certain scenes, and it's got me a little clogged on the bits I'm working on now. I think I've found a resolution, but we'll see if I get the boys talking to me again. In the meantime, I still need to work on a present, and a bribe. But raggedy_edge is an evil, evil enabler, and she's spawning more au's in my brain. One of them doesn't get to germinate. DOES NOT. No really. Unless you're paying me, it ain't happening. Well, past the one shot cos I'm a softie. But still. The other... is percolating. Me and my love for Firefly crossovers...
Also I actually wrote a scene of the steampunk thing. Uh, if I haven't mentioned doing that already. I can't actually remember when I wrote it, except that I didn't mean to write it but I woke up having to write it anyway. I test ran it on one of my sounding boards, and it reads well. Now if I could just get more pertinent details. Like names. And an actual plot.
There's going to be an art/writing comm that I'll pimp to y'all - I'm on the wrong computer for the art etc, and really, I need to actually bang out its layout. But if you like art, and writing, and (I believe) Leverage, Supernatural, and RPS of the aforementioned shows? pictures2words is someplace you'll wanna play!
Ummm. I think there was something else I was gonna say, but I forget at this point. So have some pretty word count meters, yeah?
