SPN 5.09 blow by blow
I promise I'll get around to updating my word count bars soon, plus a video that amused me. But I'm trying to get some writing done, so... Until then you'll just have to settle for my random babbling about the episode! I realize I'm probably in the minority of having looked forward to this, but then, well.
I'm probably one of the few people who doesn't mind the satire. Because seriously, lets face it. Fandom is rabid. I know we're not all crazy, but then, we're not all Sam-girls that couldn't care less about Dean either. I take this show with a ginormous grain of salt, and Show lost it's super awesome grip on me sometime in season 3. I'm here to be amused, ladies and gentlemen, and shit like this? Can do it in spades.
I don't like to take myself too seriously either. But I know that there's perfectly sane fangirls that stuff like this bothers, enough to cause serious detriment to their enjoyment of Show.
So it could be you'll want to ride on by on this ep. I'm going to be cracking up, and really, the part where I get to bitching will probably be when the Apocalypse invariably comes up again. Well, unless Kripke et al really fuck up, but that'd just be icing on the cake for those of you that don't like the wink-wink-nudge-nudge at fandom.
