Question...
Anybody have news links about the law that passed in Arkansas (I don't know when, Huckabee was just on Fox News defending it) about how unmarried couples (and single parents, though that wasn't much discussed) are no longer allowed to adopt children. Stance was that it's in the best interests of the child (Huckabee used a quote about traditional marriage... ::twitches::).
Interestingly, Fox News was trying to stay neutral on the whole "gays can't adopt" thing in favor of "look at the number of kids you're putting into foster care" thing. And by interesting I mean, "oh gee. I'm so surprised you didn't care about the human rights aspect."
It's the part about raising children not being a privalege that confuses me. Because, really, have you seen the people allowed to breed?
