so I was browsing IMDb...
I was looking at the list of which poor souls I could tie into my ficlet for unhobbityhobbit and I discovered that Adrianne Palicki (aka, Jessica Moore, and whose name I alternatly want to turn into Padalecki, or Adrian Paul...) is going to be in Legion next year. The cast list is pretty awesome (Paul Bettany, Dennis Quaid, Kate Walsh...) but its the synopsis that really gets me.
After a terrifying biblical apocalypse descends upon the world, a group of strangers stranded in a remote truck stop diner in the Southwest unwittingly become humanity's last line of defense when they discover the diner's young waitress is pregnant with the messiah.
Now, Adrianne is listed as Charlie, and maybe the waitress is going to be Kate Walsh (a little old to be a "young" waitress) or someone else (Willa Holland -?- makes the list before Adrianne, and her character has a full name...) but is it wrong that I really reallly hope Adrianne is the waitress just for the crossover fanfic? I mean, the plot has Supernatural written up one side and down the other to begin with. (Ok, so I'd adore any crossovers that would put the Winchesters in that diner already.) I can't be the only one thinking this, right? Right? > >;;
Well. I should go back to sorting new books. I had to stop and read Secret Invasion #3, which is awesome and only further confirms my love of Bendis. Whether or not I stop to read the new issue of The Boys or Buffy will depend entirely on whether or not my fingers have decided I can take a break. I'm fairly certain if I had a little more time and fewer books to sort, this ficlet would be done before I left work today. (You should be proud of yourself, unhobbityhobbit, I don't think I've been bitten by a plot so thoroughly since I wrote that fic for Refur back in the fall.)
