Dream 003
Warnings: Possible spoilers for 4.11 'Sometimes a Great Notion'.
Effects: Numbness
[At first, it's completely dark in the dream, just the sounds of the wind and then a fire crackling. And then Kara comes into view, sitting on the ground and staring into the fire. Although it's not just a normal fire; some sort of attention has been paid to it and anyone who knows what a funeral pyre is would recognise it.
It's easy to tell that she's been sitting there a long time from the stiffness in her back and shoulders but she doesn't shift once. The scene pans past her; her eyes are lacking focus, as though she's staring past the flames and in her hand she's clutching a set of dog tags with a ring on them. The angle shifts again and there are identical tags around her neck only lacking a bloodstain.]
[The dream ends and Kara, exhausted from everything that's been going on and not sleeping at all thanks to that and the memories it's been triggering sighs, rubbing her eyes and fingering the tags around her neck.]
Seeing as the last person I spoke to about it disappeared, any chance there's a doctor around here? I need a couple of blood tests done.
