Not a spoiler in sight
Last night we saw Serenity. Morena Baccarin was the surprise guest.
I would have been happy with just the movie. Hell I would have been ecstatic with just the movie. It was good. Funny, good story and flowed well. It kept your attention throughout. During Revenge of the Sith I found myself dropping off an many more than one occasion. This time even though I had worked an eight hour day, driven 40 miles and was viewing at 10 at night I did not nod once.
It was incomplete, no titles, missing some effects and lacking some score, but it has all the hallmarks of Firefly and adapts well to the bigscreen. There was an introduction by Joss which was hilarious and must be on the dvd when it finally comes out.
All told, if you are a fan it will have been worth the wait. If you are not a fan it will likely make you one.
