Another month, another entry.
My new toy. Got it hooked up last night (after installing a wireless router) and it works great. We can now listen to all of our mp3s wherever we want. The sound quality is pretty good, too. If we ever get around to getting a real stereo, we can feed the output of this into it.
Trying to get past the sudden influx of bad relative-related news by letting my rage towards some of my coworkers at this client overwhelm me. It's ok to be ignored when you know you're right if there's the potential for a payoff, i.e., you'll be around when it all blows up in their faces. Here, though, they'll be able to limp along slowly and painfully forever, and it would take a complete disaster for them to ever admit fault. Oh well.
Turns out jennybunny was right, Good News For People Who Love Bad News has grown on me. fake_plastic_me convinced me to give it another chance and after a few more listens I'm appreciating it more. She also got me listening to Muse (thanks GBSFM), which is awesome. I have Apocalypse Please going through my head constantly.
