Things of note:
1. Today I passed my last certification test necessary for MCSD. Cosmic significance: zero, Local significance: a minor raise and something else off my plate.
2. Tomorrow we close on our first house. We're getting ready to write a check for about $10,000. I'm strangely ok with this. We went by the house again today and it's still as perfect as I remember. It's going to be tough to wait another month before we move in.
3. Due to a quick heads up from one of my coworker friends, I was able to ask for and immediately receive a new laptop for work. I don't have the machine yet, but the ones we've been ordering lately have been incredible.
4. It's a bit odd knowing that people will be coming to visit but realizing that you probably won't know how many until they all walk in the door. After the craziness of this week, the long weekend should be a blast.
