[Lina had finally fallen asleep somewhere, wrapped up in her cape. She didn't look like much, just a young girl wrapped up in a black cape. She was tossing and turning though and she suddenly wakes up to what appears to be a rather large cave and sitting on a very tall rock with a flat surface is a young boy.]
So you're finally awake, Lina Inverse.
[The boy may not look like much, but Lina looks very afraid, very very afraid.]
I was wondering when you would wake up. All your friends are here and waiting. Will you cast the Giga Slave?
[Lina looks around and all of her friends are there, Amellia, Gourry, Zelgadiss, even Xelloss and Martina. They all look rather sleepy and Lina shakes her head, looking panicked]
I won't cast it! I will never cast the Giga Slave!!
[The boy just holds up a hand and several golden orbs appear above his hand.]
Each of these orbs is the life of one of your friends. If you don't cast the Giga Slave, I'll start with them and then move on to the rest of the people in the area.
[Lina stands firm, still looking rather shaken.]
I won't do it, Hellmaster. I won't do it!!
[Hellmaster just smirks and crushes one of the orbs and Martina falls with a scream. Lina flinches as if she's slapped]
N-no. I won't do it.
[He giggles manically and then crushes yet another. There goes Zelgadiss. Lina falls to her knees, hands in her hair and she's fighting back tears as Amelia tries a spell and only ends up getting killed by the Hellmaster and then Xelloss, and to her horror Gourry falls after trying to use the Sword of Light.]
Now Lina, your friends are gone, who should I start with next? There are so many towns to choose from.
[Lina's chanting under her breath, not looking up at Phibrizzo until he comes close enough so that she could just look up at him.]
Let the fools that stand before me be destroyed by the power you and I possess....DRAGON SLAVE!!!
[She goes with the Dragon Slave in hopes that it would work, but it didn't. The boy had just teleported to another place and shook his head at Lina.]
Now Lina, that won't work. Cast it and all this pain will end.
