every year, a group of buddhist monks visit st. adalbert's in grand rapids to raise a little money through performances and lectures and the like. but apparently this year, as my mom told me this morning, 50 protesters from another catholic church in allendale showed up and drowned them out by saying prayers during the performance.
that pisses me off to no end.
