When We Fall, We Will Fall Together!
I went and saw Streetlight Manifesto last night.
It was A LOT of fun, they put on an amazing live show, but I REALLY need to learn that, especially on a school night, spending the ENTIRE show in the circle pit/push pit thing is a REALLY bad idea.
WHY do I enjoy that so much? I was practically the only girl in there 90% of the time and I was the only girl in their for the entire show. The best part was, though, at the end, some guy told me I had amazing endurance, so that was cool.
Also cool was that they played ALL of my favorite songs and the opening band, well one of them, was from my home city. The other opening band looked like they might be better suited opening for My Chemical Romance than Streetlight Manifesto, and I swear to god that their singer was on SO many drugs...he was like...twitching, it was SO fucking weird. He also looked like a crossover between Weird Al and Michael Jackson gone horribly, horribly wrong...
ALSO cool was standing outside of a sketchy venue waiting for my ride, who got pulled over on her way to get me, and while trying to stay as close to other people as possible (Since I went alone) accidentally/inadvertently meeting the band! They're pretty nice guys, considering I'd assumed they would be assholes.
The moral of this story is - I had SO much trouble pulling myself out of bed to get to class this morning and I feel as though I've been hit by a truck...BUT I HAD FUN!
