Suddenly I've become the event planner and I hate it. I'm indecisive and I have to approve everything with everyone. The only thing I would enjoy planning would be a wedding, but even then everyone I know is always stressed so it really doesn't seem much fun!
Anyway, I need your suggestions again!
I need a cool place to have a party for Interns and their mentors and managers. (300 people total) no dinner required just booze, heavy appetizers and a cool activity.
Bocce ball is out since it's too costly. I thought of the Computer History Museum in Mtn. View but that's 5k to rent and not including food and booze.
Last year they had it at Mitchell Park in PA but it may not be appropriate given we've doubled and we're having Cambridge interns fly out and they wouldn't be too thrilled..
So last year, she had a company called Total Rebound do human foosball, etc...sumo wrestling inflatable suits
I'm at a loss since we technically have no budget (yet they nixed Bocce)...I dunno!
I want it to be nice. Our president and VP will be there so it's very important. I just don't want it to be a rinky-dink affair. I mean they'll go back to school and say "Yeah, the company I worked for in the summer took us to a park."
"So, Chad and Brad..Where did Google take you guys?" "Rented out the Computer History Museum..."
HELP!
