Gentle Reader,
I have arrived at the rest of my life.
I turned in my last assignment for library school today. I am done! After two and a half years of working and going to school full time, I can now read whatever I want, spend my nights and weekends how I please, and forever discard those dry and dusty indexing and cataloging tomes.
I am madly, crazy in love and have less than two weeks until I see my love again, when we will pack up the car and hit the road with the dogs, leaving this city behind.
The weather has hit record highs during the past week. It is 75 outside and sunny in the middle of December. I have seven days left of work here at the library and will put in two more applications today. I feel like my whole life is starting just now. I close my eyes and get dizzy and can't believe that life is really, truly this good.
