Tuesday night I went to Weatherford to stay with my really good friend AJ. The weather was absolutely beautiful out there, and it was good to get away and spend some time with him before I leave for Germany. We spent a bulk of the time watching K-PAX...and I definately think it was worth it. Oh! Also ran into mouth...I'm sure none of you know who she is, but she was a pretty good friend for awhile when I was going to UCO.
Wednesday I ended up going to ECU with my ex-stepmom (whom I still consider one of my mom's....I know, I'm incredibly blessed :-D) to disect turtles...I learned more about turtle anatomy than I think most anyone could ever want to know (that wasn't a bio or zoo major)...but hey, knowledge is knowledge, right? On the bad side, I ended up having to kill one in order to extract it's blood for a DNA test that needed to be ran. I really feel kind of bad about it, but the way I look at it is that it's okay because it's in the name of Science, right? :-/ Oh well, such is. I had a great day talking with Carol and getting to meet some of her cronies there at her lab...plus I got to go tour one of the EPA labs in Ada. Anyway, I guess that's about all I have to report in the home front.
Off to get coffee w/ Aaron before heading home.
41 days until liftoff...
