I have been doing quite a bit of thinking in the past few days. It is said that people a randomly turned into drones forever, yes? Perhaps the body here is merely the casing for the soul. The body of a drone is replaced with one with a soul and when the soul departs the body remains. These would then not be our own true bodies, they would be ones created to house the whole of our essence.
I myself was quite dead before coming here. My body, or more, my bones, used as a medium by my beloved. The flesh had already been stripped. No internal organs remaining. This world could hardly bring with me my bones and sculpt flesh and such on them. That leaves my soul to have been brought here.
