I am currently moving out of a 110+ year old house that has had a LOT of activity (over 10 separate spirits seen there over the 5-6 year period I lived in the house). I have not brought anything but clothes to my boyfriend's apartment so far, as I'm still deciding what to keep and what I'll be putting in storage, etc. He's afraid of me bringing ( Read more... )

I completely understand. "Good" spirits spice up life, but "bad" spirits are just...well, bad.

Making a ward requires a great deal of visualization and psychic projection. Concentrate on all the walls of your room, including the door and windows. Imagine that the walls are impenetrable, like a bunker, then project that feeling into them. When I picture the feeling, it forms a yellow chain that covers the entire room. My husband pictures something different...it doesn't really matter, as long as it's strong. It helps to keep a hand on the wall with which to inject this image. Also imagine things trying to get in, but not being able to. You must be completely confident that they can't, and project that feeling too. They won't see the room because no vibes pass outside it for them to detect. And even if they did see it, they can't get in. It's a stone wall. The strong psychic barrier will shove them away.
At the end you should feel for holes in the ward and places where it's generally weak, then work to fill them. Spirits will try to press against the holes and make them bigger--we had one that came back every day or so to try--but you can patch it over even as they try. You just need to feel really confident that it'll work, and your energy will do the rest. Failing that, essential vanilla oil touched on the weakest points in the ward will help deter them as well.

Your ward won't likely be very strong at first and you'll need to renew it regularly, but the more layers it has the stronger it can get and the longer it will last. With practice it's almost effortless. We haven't renewed ours in many months, but it's still there and still working. Nothing's come inside in a very long time, though a few of the peskier travellers have tried. Best of luck and I hope it helps!
