So I was wearing this blue cubic zirconia three stone ring while walking upstairs to watch a movie yesterday.  There was no one else home.  I knew the center stone was in there because I was staring at it on the way up, thinking, "Ooh shiny," seriously, I actually was thinking that.  But I went to take it off so that the blanket I was using wouldn' ( Read more... )

My house ghost does stuff like that all the time. He once put my wedding rings into a sealed envelope on my desk.

That's weird too! I've had stuff misplaced but this is ridiculous lol. I have definitely experienced worse.

If that's some house ghost, put him some toys and shining strasses somewhere, where nobody could touch or take them away. He definitely needs something to play with and that's why took the stone from your ring for a while.:-) It works.

I always ask George (that's his name) nicely to give whatever it is back or to help me find it. He almost always does. But all he did on the rings-in-the-sealed-envelope trick was to laugh at me. Silly house ghost.

Why silly?) He just wants to have fun sometimes, like we all do. ))

"Silly" in this case is a term of endearment. George is a very pranksterish ghost, but he's family. (As in, we consider the ghost a member of the family, not that he was a family member. I don't know who George is/was, and our house doesn't have a lot of clear history to find out.)

Oh, I see. ))But you can try to ask him who he was and why he stays still here. Especially if he feels a sympathy for your.

I've asked who he was, but he doesn't answer. I think he stays because he likes it. He knows we consider him family and are happy to have him with us. When my cat Moosie died, we told him to go find George and hang out. I think George just likes being near people.

Seems you are right, there's a reason for him - people around whom he feels close...Interesting...And I think Moosie found him and went further.))
