When I struggled to get up, I found Gunn's hand pushing me down again. Confused I glared up at him, only to get an equal glare right back. "Charles," I sighed, glancing over at Buffy as well.

"Don't you go Charles me, English," he scoffed. "Don't forget I spend years watchin' Barbie go through this." He looked at me with worried eyes, which seeped through in the tone of his voice. "Just tell us what you seen, and take it easy okay?"

Sighing, I squeezed my eyes shut and then fumbled with the bottle of aspirin. God, I hated this. I hated that look. Buffy had the same look. There had to be a way to make this less worse for them to watch, to get that look out of their eyes and off their faces.

"He...something about a boy. And they were yelling at each other." And for some reason the boy had looked familiar. There had been a feeling as though I should know him. But for the live of me, I had no idea who he was. "It was an accident," I said, swallowing hard. Opening my eyes, I looked first at Gunn and then at Buffy.

"Angel will kill the boy if we don't hurry up." Reaching up, I clutched the hem of Buffy's shirt. "It was an accident and could you *please* get me two aspirin out of this damn bottle? We need to hurry."

*Finally* Someone who understands the urgency of the matter. I knew I could count on Buffy.

"I'm fine, Gunn," I said, struggling up with Buffy's help. He gave me a dubious look but then reached out to yank me up as well. And really, getting up that fast didn't agree with my head. "Thank you," I muttered, reaching out to lean with my hand against the wall.

Sewer. Wall. Slime. Oh for..

Wrinkling my nose, I pulled my hand away and made a face. My head was trying to explode, I kept seeing images of Angel killing some boy named... Something with a C. Cody? No, that wasn't it. But beside all that? I now had slime on my hand. Sighing, I wiped it off on my jeans and blinked over at Gunn and Buffy.

"Let's get going," I muttered, taking a few steps into the direction of the door which was hidden here somewhere. Quickly, I pushed down on all feelings of dizziness, nausea and tried to ignore the world from racing in circles. I think I was doing pretty well. Then again,I would, considering I was an expert at pretending.

"Hurry," I nearly pleaded.

"Just take it easy, Wes," Gunn sighed. He was keeping very close, and if he thinks I'd not seen the worried look he gave Buffy, he has another thing coming.

"Later Gunn. We don't have time to take it easy now."

I stood up and made a face when Wes touched the wall that was covered in like this greenish goo. Okay, gross and he wiped it all over his pants. Doesn't matter, we have to stop Angel from killing some boy. I stood behind him and Gunn stood beside me as we all walked through the tunnel, not really sure what to expect from Wes. Well, Gunn did, but me? I had no idea, all I knew was that he was still wanting to get this done and we had to. Apparently some boys life was at stake.

"We're hurrying," I muttered under my breath as I walked right behind Wes who was actually not really walking with the fastness, yet he was telling us that we were too slow.

Rolling my eyes, I glanced at Gunn before looking ahead again. "It's okay, he's right. We don't have time, whatever is taking over Angel or whatever is making him kill this boy, or attack him or whatever ... I ... I just don't want Angel to have to live with that when he comes to his senses and ..."

"Bullshit! What the ... Look here, blondie, Angel is evil now, whatever he does, we *want* him to live with it, he done did it, he needs to pay," Gunn cut in and I stopped walking and turned straight to him.

"Yes, there's something going on with him, but it's *our* job to save him and to bring him back. I don't want him to live with something that *we* could have fucking stopped and prevented!"

Gunn just stood there looking at me and I realized that I totally went ... bonkers just then.

"Sorry, it's just ... we have to hurry, come on Wes," I said and pushed Wes a little bit at his back as I came up to walk beside him. Finally I heard the footsteps of Gunn walking behind us. Hopefully we can make it in time.

Really, I'm getting so very tired of those two together. My admiration for Angel went up in leaps and bounds. Though, I have to point out once again that Cordy and I were *never* like this. Or this bad. I'm seriously starting to wonder if those two will ever work together without wanting to see blood. Each other's that is.

Wearily, I paused and glanced over at the two with tired eyes. The need to shout at them to shut the bloody hell up and get a move on was very present. I didn't, however, have the energy. Not to mention that this headache was killing me. Quite literally in the end, but let's not think about that too much shall we?

Then Buffy got really angry and I blinked at her. I don't think I've ever heard he say things like that. Not even when things got very rough the last few weeks. I glanced over at Gunn and he looked back at me. Narrowing my eyes, I gave him a look that spoke volumes.

"Yeah," he sighed, stepping up next to us. "Sorry." Muttering under his breath, he moved ahead of us toward the entrance.

We needed to hurry. We had little time. There was *some* time, but if we were going to stand here arguing about nothing, we'd be too late. And don't ask me how I know this, I just do. Just as that vision had been very vague. I now understood why Cordelia had been so frustrated all the time because she was unable to tell Angel the full story.

Frowning, I glanced down at Buffy as she pushed me again and raised an eyebrow. I quickly swallowed a 'I can walk on my own', because she was tense already. Which was probably why she was doing this. "Don't worry," I said instead. "We'll make it on time."

Gunn was already waiting for us at the secret door. Though, one really had to wonder how secret this door was. No time for that either though. "Let's hurry."

Gunn went ahead and walked ahead of us and that left me and Wes walking along the tunnel to the door that we were supposed to get into. Cat walked beside me and I sighed, wanting to say I was sorry, but the words just didn't come. I wanted to get this over with, which it seemed like that's how most things ended while I was here and on a mission. Just get it over with. Apparently, the three of us couldn't work together and it probably had to do with me. Gunn and I just didn't see eye to eye and some of the things that Wes did got on my nerves.

Gunn held the door open for us and I walked in, holding onto Cats leash and I shivered a little as the air conditioner hit my skin. It was freakin' cold.

Gunn gave me a looks as I walked past him, but I didn't say anything, just kept on walking.

"Are we taking the stairs, or just getting on the elevator?" I asked Wes and turned around, watching him come inside. "I figure that I could go ahead and take the elevator and start my talk with him, then you two could walk in. I want to be able to talk to him on my own though first, if you two don't mind," I said and gave Gunn a look who just rolled his eyes. I was so tired of him and tonight Wes and I were going to have a talk about that.

I was going to have a talk with Gunn. That much was certain. This couldn't go on. I've no idea why he was flinging the testosterone around like that. I've never seen him act this way. Well, actually, I had. When he was suddenly interested in Fred and thought someone else, me in that case, might be interested.

That wasn't what was going on here. I was pretty sure of that. He was acting a little different this time. Perhaps he felt...what? Buffy insulted his inner macho by being stronger, faster an better then he was? How could he know that? Strength wasn't everything. And this coming from the fellow who complained about 'being the muscle'.

Oh yes, he and I were going to have to talk.

Buffy and I as well, I suspect. Though that talk will be very different. At least she's still here, helping us. And for that I'm very glad and grateful. I'm not sure Gunn and I would've managed on our own. Especially since I'm still having a damn headache from that vision. Anytime would be good now aspirin.

"What if I do mind?" Gunn asked. He crossed his arms over his chest and raised an eyebrow at Buffy.

Sighing, I ran a hand through my hear. "Enough," I said calmly. "I've a bloody headache, I'm not in the mood for this." Grabbing Gunn's arm, I took Cat's leash out of Buffy's hand and started toward the stairs. "Please be careful Buffy," I called over my shoulder, ignoring Gunn scowling at me.

What if he did mind? I was about to say something, but Wes stopped it all together with his little enough thing. Whatever, I didn't need him or Wes and ... I was doing this to help them! They should be grateful but they weren't. Okay, so maybe Wes was, but other than that? Nope. They weren't. Stupid boys, I thought with a pout. Wes reached out and grabbed the leash and I let go, nodding at him as I turned and went the other way.

"I always am," I said and I could hear Gunn sigh before he followed Wes up the stairs. I had to do this, I had to convince Angel before they even walked in, I had to figure out what was wrong with him to make him want to do evil, this was his town yes, but he ... he ... was just doing it the wrong way.

Stepping out of the elevator, I looked around for a second before hearing my name. Harmony. Wonderful. I gave her a fake smile as she talked and talked, but I didn't say anything, just walked past her and into Angel's office, closing the door behind me.

"Buffy ... what a surprise," I heard him say and I turned around, looking at him. He gave me a quizzical look before I walked in, moving to the chair that was in front of his desk.

"Angel ... yeah," was all I said as I sat down and crossed my arms over my chest.

"What can I help you with, I thought you were going back to Rome?"

"I was, but ... something happened with Wes, he ... he's hurt and I needed to tell you," I said slowly and then looked up at him. He seemed to feel sorry for whatever I was about to say and I waited for him to say something, but he never did. Just turned in his seat and got up so he could look out the window.

"Yeah, he's hurt. Bad, I don't know if he's going to um, well ..." I tried to think of a good lie, but eventually I just rolled my eyes and stood up, walking over to him slowly.

"He has the visions," we both said at the same time and I stopped walking toward him and just stood there, looking at the back of his head before he turned around looking at me. "I know," was all he said before walking back to his desk and sitting down.

"Wait, you knew? You knew this would ... happen? I don't understand."

Stairs, I've noticed, were quite a thing to conquer with a headache like this. Funny how I never noticed that before. Thank god those aspirin finally started to work. Now if only Gunn would kindly cooperate.

"I don't get why you let her go off on her own, English," he grumbled while we made our way to the floor Angel's office was located at. It made me wonder why it was so high up. Shouldn't the CEO be closer by?

"Just 'course she The Slayer," and he actually made airquotes here, "Don't mean she can order me 'round like that." He huffed and stopped when we reached the floor we had been going to. "You okay?"

He looked at me worried as I put my hands on my knees and bend forward to catch my breath. "I'm fine," I insisted, taking some deep breaths and letting them out slowly again. "Charles. She's a very experienced Slayer. She and Angel have a history you know nothing about really..."

"The doomed love couple," he muttered. "Yeah, I remember you and Cordy explain' that to Fred." He sighed and opened the door, peering out to see if the coast was clear.

"Just...let it go, Gunn," I whispered, glancing around him. "Just give her some room. She knows what she's doing." I hope. "You two need to work together if Angel..." I frowned when I saw a familiar looking boy pass us by. Narrowing my eyes, I looked at him closely as he made a beeline for Angel's office.

"That's the boy," I told Gunn urgently, tugging on his arm. "That's the boy I saw in the vision."

Gunn looked at me alarmed and then over at the boy again. "We'd better hurry then." Hoisting up his weapon, but not in plain sight, we tried to casually make our way over to Angel's office as well. We were just in time to see the boy sneak inside as Harmony suddenly appeared in front of us.

"Guys! Where have you two been? Angel is like *so* making a mess of things!"

"You knew the whole time that Wes was going to get the visions and you didn't stop it or say anything to us while we were here?" I asked him, glaring. "What have you ... I don't understand Angel, what are you doing here?" I asked him and took a few more steps toward him. His arm reached out and pulled me to him, pulling me on his lap as his arms went around me, holding me closer to him. Okay now? Now I was totally confused and I had no idea what he was doing, but it wasn't until I heard him sniffle that I finally turned around and looked at him. His arm still around me, his other arm came up to brush some hair out of my face before his fingers ran through his hair.

"I don't know what I'm doing here Buffy. I'm trying ... and trying and I just don't want everything to catch up and it's catching up ..." He said slowly. Okay, confusing much? Why was he holding me? Why was he doing this. This isn't what ... No. Moving off of him, he grabbed my arm, pulling me back, but I let go. "Angel, stop."

He looked up at me and his arms went up before he laid them on the arms of the chair.

"What's going on, Angel?" I asked him. He glanced at me and then looked at the door. I turned my head and in came some boy. Boy. The boy that Wes said that Angel was going to kill.

Turning my head, I looked at Angel and he was getting up from his chair. "Angel, you ... you should sit down," I said and pushed him back on his chair before sitting on his lap again.

"Hey, kid, don't you see we're busy here?" I asked and tried to motion with my eyes for him to go, but he just stood there with a goofy grin on his face.

"Buffy? What are you doing?" Angel asked me and I turned around, raising my eyebrows before leaning in and giving him a kiss on the lips. My arms wrapped around him and I could hear the boy actually walking, probably heading for the door. The door opened and I sat up, turning around.

"What the hell is goin' on in here?" Gunn asked as he stood in the doorway of the office.

Gunn and I glanced at Harmony as she continued to babble about how Angel was messing things up and where we'd been and lord knows what else. Though, I was puzzled as to what the last Unicorn had to do with anything. "Harmony," I tried patiently. My patience was wearing thin though, after six tried.

From the corner of my eyes, I saw Gunn sneaking away and walk toward the door. Just as he opened it he came face to face with the boy. "Hey," Gunn said, frowning at the boy. He put his hand on the boy's chest to stop him from going anywhere. Good. We needed him to know what was going on, or going to happen.

I turned my attention back to Harmony who was still ranting. "Miss Kendall!" I said sternly. And really, that was a very bad idea with this headache. Bloody hell, I think she just nullified the work the aspirin had done.

"What?!" Harmony put her hands on her hips and glared at me. Then she poked her finger in my chest with a very familiar gesture. I remember Cordelia doing the same with those lethal nails of her.

"Don't you talk to me like that! Mister Windy-Pants!" She huffed and tossed her hair over her back before giving me a glare.

Not a very impressive one, but it was a nice try. Just as I was about to open my mouth, I heard Gunn's demand to know what was going on. Curious now, I ignored Harmony's ranting and walked toward the door. The boy was still standing there, looking rather uncomfortable.

The moment I glanced around Gunn into the office, I knew the reason why. What I didn't know, or understood, was the 'why' 'I felt a small pang of something go through me at the sight of Buffy and Angel wrapped up in each others arms. So to speak.

"I take it you've settled everything?"

Harmony came in behind me and let out a squeak. "Oh my gosh!" And for a moment I thought her eyes might actually pop out of their sockets as she stared at Angel and Buffy.

"Got that right," Gunn snorted. "Doubt God had anythin' to do with it though."

Now I was sitting here, staring at some boy, Gunn and Wes. And now Harmony. Sighing, I got off of Angel and brushed my shirt down before looking at them again. I was trying to get the boy out of here so Angel wouldn't go all murder spree on him. Well, probably now it'll work. I doubt that between three people Angel will get through us to get to him.

"Settled?" I glanced at Wes and walked over to him as Angel stood up from his desk.

"Settled ... what are you guys doing here and what's going on?" Angel asked and I looked up at Wes, wanting to tell him that Angel knew the whole time that he was going to get the visions, but with Angels hearing, I doubt that would be possible.

What was the boy doing here anyway? There ... I couldn't think of anything and I doubt he worked for Angel. I was so confused.

"Angel, how about you tell us why you knew that Wes would get the visions?" I said and looked up at Wes before looking back at Angel.

"Whoa, wait up! You knew the whole damn time?" Gunn asked and took a few steps closer to Angel.

Angel had a deer in headlights look as he watched us for a second before motioning for Harmony, "Get security."

"Harmony, if you move? I will make it painful," I warned and glared back at Angel. "You were saying?"

"What's goin' on?" Gunn blinked at Angel and then looked over at me. "That's our question, Angel. Don't you go sittin' here pretending everything is just a-okay when it aint!"

I stepped further into the room, looking over at Buffy. She stepped away from Angel, obviously not very happy with the situation. Well, it did seem as though they were having a very...nice...talk. And with all of us here, the chances of Angel and that boy coming to blows have gone down considerably.

Gunn sneered at Angel when he said to get security. And then did the same thing I did when Buffy spoke those words. He stared at our old and formerly trusted friend.

He'd...known? But...how?

"Harmony," Angel sighed, putting his hands on his hips. "You're vampire for crying out loud. Who signs your paycheck!"

"But Boss," Harmony whined. "I don't like pain!"

I wasn't paying her any attention, I was slowly moving toward Angel. And for some reason one of my real guns had found its way into my hand. "You *knew!*" I never raised my voice, but this time I couldn't help myself.

"Yeah." Angel shifted uncomfortably, looking anywhere but at me. "I knew." And was that a defiant tone? It had better not be.

I stopped in front of him and put my gun under his chin. Then I poked hard enough until he was finally looking at me. "Care to explain to me," I started, my voice low and dangerous, "how it is you *knew* I was going to be struck by those sodding visions. Yet, you failed to tell me about this?" Taking the safety off the gun, I narrowed my eyes at him.

"Wes," Gunn tried, taking a step closer to us.

"Not now, Charles. Angel and I are busy," I said, not even looking at him.
