I wasn't convinced, and I did worry about it. She was, at the very least, going to miss her sister. And worry about her. I did find it odd that Giles had not called. Especially since he.. Oh bugger. Did she call him to tell him we were back from Hell? I didn't know, and I didn't really feel like asking. Though, I suppose she had... Probably. Can't remember. I can hardly thing with this headache.

Thank god it's starting to fade. Thanks to the medication and the fact that we took care of things. Cordelia usually held the headache until the case was solved. And yet, she still walked around, helping out. I think my admiration for the woman jumped up with leaps and bounds.

"You aint drivin' with that headache, English," Gunn's voice came, tearing my out of my thoughts.

"But my car..."

"Don't worry about that. Gimme the keys, I'll drive. Or Buffy can drive, You aint drivin'."

Sighing, I ran a hand over my face and understood another thing about the way Cordelia acted. This worry was annoying. And the constant looks Gunn was already giving me. Next would be the questions. "I'm fine," I said, taking a page from Cordy's book. Mustering up a small smile, I glanced over at Buffy. "I can drive. Just lead the way and we'll follow."

Following Gunn and Buffy into the place, I noticed right away that it was a 'Gunn place'. Which usually meant they had good food, good drinks and were great with the safety. As in, no didn't need to look over ones shoulder quite so often. Leave it to Gunn to have such a place nearby. I had to wonder if perhaps he had them hidden everywhere.

Would not actually surprise me. And this had nothing to do with his new brain either. The old Charles already had this.

Sliding into a chair opposite to them, I quickly picked up the menu to scan it. Didn't really want to look up into concerned eyes. Good lord, no wonder Cordelia was so snapish at times. I guess I'm going to have to perfect my 'I'm fine' routine. Shouldn't be too hard. I'm good at pretending.

"Okay," Gunn started, "Once we get our order," and with that he wove down a waiter, "we needs to talk business."

Nodding at that, I gave the waiter a polite smile as I ordered some tea. Gunn gave me a look, but thankfully didn't say anything. We waited until Buffy place her order as well, and she was obviously hungry if her order was anything to go by.

"I think we need to find us a place with at least a living place or several perhaps." An old small warehouse perhaps? Or a shop? They usually came with some upstairs space. We could rent it, turn some of the rooms into bedrooms or the likes. Cat would like a warehouse where she'd be able to run around. Less messing about with a glamor too then.

God, it hurts to think. I hope Gunn can come up with something using that new brain of his. Mine seems to be out of order for the moment.
