New Job
I don't know why I haven't posted about this yet. I had my interviews with Microsoft, which I talked about in my last post. What I didn't say is that on Monday of this week I was offered a job there and I accepted. I couldn't pass up the offer that was given to me. The package is pretty sweet. I'll be making a salary of 76k/year to start, with yearly reviews. With those reviews come raises and additional stock rewards. Also there is a bonus involved which is a percentage of the salary. I also get 150 stock awards which mature over a 5 year period. And the insurance package. Oh... My... God... I don't have to pay for medical stuff anymore ever basically. No co-pays for appointments or medications. Among other things.
Just thought I would get that out there for anybody that was wondering how things went.
Going to be going to Portland next week. Heading down Tuesday morning and heading back Thursday, most likely in the evening. So anybody that wants to get together that I haven't already talked to about it, let me know!
