I just got done watching episode four of Battlestar Galactica's third season, "Exodus, part II". And if you asked me to sum it up in one word, I'd tell you to go frak yourself- it's impossible. Normally I'd say "amazing" or "wow" or some other descriptor, but this episode goes way beyond that.

In fact, they just went beyone the scope of any other tv show I've ever watched.

Over the course of the last forty-five minutes, I think I've felt the entire emotional spectrum. It was relentless, it hit me from every angle, and it didn't stop. Didn't give me time to rest. I think it has to have been the episode with the fastest pace so far.

Now, I'm not going to review it, cause that will involve spoilers and I know a few people aren't up to this point yet. But, for me, "Exodus" (both parts) sums up why Battlestar Galactica is no ordinary sci-fi show. Hell, I wouldn't even call it a sci-fi show, it's way beyond that. This is drama of the highest calibre, and as a good friend of mine put it, "the fate of sci-fi tv rests on its shoulders".

Other shows can only hope to match this.
