the only thing I can think of is don't try and force it, just leave it for a while and come back to it later :)

Yeah, I'd go with what Lessa said. That, and re-read your work (if you haven't already) and try to find anything that could bring out more of a storyline. Who knows, surprise twists are always great little things. =)

don't try to write something that follows the rules of battlestar galactica. try something really really absurd.

if that doesn't work, try looking around you because you live in FUCKING SCOTLAND, which is one of the most beautiful and inspiring places ever.

if that doesn't work, try drugs.
