"ALL YOU NEED TO START AN ASYLUM
IS AN EMPTY ROOM AND THE RIGHT KIND OF PEOPLE"
~ My Man Godfrey
I’ve met some pretty interesting people over the years and I often wonder why the majority of them haven’t been committed to an asylum. Then I realize that most of them don’t live long enough to let the effects of their horrific memories destroy their minds. Hunters are a prime example of the right kinds of people who would be in an asylum; if not from their own self admittance, then from the authorities who’d think they were crazy from the stories they told. Even those poor people who’d been possessed and done some terrible deed while under the influence would soon find themselves a local resident.
The thing is; most people would think you were crazy if you started talking about hunting and killing things that only existed in fictional stories.
Gordon Walker is someone I’d consider a perfect candidate. Seeing your sister getting taken and turned by vampires would scar anyone, even more so once you killed her, but the moment I met him, I knew there was something wrong with him. Ellen had even warned us to stay away from him. After Dean had kept him locked in a chair after trying to kill a clan of peaceful vampires, he came back trying to kill me because he'd found out about my abilities. Even after we'd gotten him arrested, the guy wouldn't give up. He'd escaped, even been turned into a vampire, and it wasn't until I had to kill him in self defense did his obsession with me stop.
Bela Talbot is another person who'd be great to the addition. No, she wasn't as crazy as Gordon, but she was the type of girl who'd do anything to get what she wanted to earn a couple bucks, even shoot a couple people to prove she wasn't messing around. Whenever she was around, things always went wrong.
