"IT'S HUMAN TO LIE. MOST OF THE TIME,
WE CAN'T EVEN BE HONEST WITH OURSELVES."
~ Rashômon

Dean and I, we haven’t really been honest with one another. For the longest time he didn’t know I was still in contacts with Ruby after he died. And at first Dean told me he didn’t remember anything while being in Hell when he really did. When we finally came clean, it left us feeling even more untrustworthy with one another. I still have many things I’ve hesitated telling him about, as I’m sure there are many things he doesn’t want to tell me, but I feel if I do let him in on everything, he’ll kill me.**

Granted, Dad did tell Dean that if I’d gotten out of control and followed Azazel’s plans, he’d have to kill me, but I’m no ones weapon. Because of what Dad told him, Dean thinks that by using these demonic powers I’ll fall deeper into the grasps of the opposite team and purposely hurt those I’d spent years protecting. Ruby has been a big help with making sure I haven’t used my powers against anything other than the demons I’m expelling. I’m taking Azazel’s gift and using it against him.

Dean’s afraid of going after Lilith because of what she’s capable of. She sent him to Hell once, so who’s to say she won’t be able to do it again. Even if angels had saved him once before, what if they can’t do it a second time and he’s stuck to endure the same torture over again? I’m immune to Lilith’s powers; withstood the blast of heat she meant to kill me with, and even when she was at her weakest point I couldn’t fight back; because I didn’t know how.

My abilities are the only thing that’ll be able to stop her. Dean doesn’t like it, the angels don’t like it, but I have no other option. I won’t sit around and watch the world fall apart when there’s something I can do to stop it. Ruby has been training me, preparing me, for when I do face Lilith again. And once she’s been defeated, then I’ll stop.

Because of my brother’s fear with Lilith, with me and these powers, I keep things hidden.
