I just polished off half a Chef-Boy-R-Dee pizza by myself. It's been my only food today, so I won't beat myself up too badly over it. I just wish I didn't wait until I was starved before shoving food down my throat. I don't even give my tummy a chance to say "whoa". Finished a 12-day pet-sitting job. Turned out to be quite fine in the end. I've taken care of the dog twice before for a couple of short weekend jobs, but the poor thing was too terrified to let me near it. It's a Jack Russell (mix?) named Clay. The owner brought his pen to her mother's where I was staying with two cats. Clay wouldn't even let me get close enough to put a leash on him to go outside. I had to leave the inside garage door open so he could sneak out in the middle of the night and do his business on the floor. Maybe he just gave up or thought after a few days that his owners weren't coming back because overnight that dog became such a lover. He started following me around, sleeping with me on the couch, running to the front door and turning his head so I could leash him. The owner said he would usually walk down the sidewalk about two houses before he'd go and then run back to the door in a panic. Not for me. That dog had me walking down the whole block...over and over. He was so busy seeing and smelling the world that I nearly froze my ta-ta's off. Okay...maybe me fixing him fried hamburger, steak, ham, etc., instead of dog food was the way to his heart..but whatever. He even jumped in my lap and put his paws on either side of my neck and gave me doggie kisses. After over a week of this, I was almost wishing for the scared dog back. I could have used some alone time. He turned out to be such a sweetie.

I have a 3-day weekend job starting Friday. Stopping over at the folks on Saturday for some bratwurst and picking up some boxes to mail Ebay stuff with. Wednesday will be running around looking for a job again. Got to remember to buy a lotto ticket. There's got to be someway to get out of working. I just know there is.

Reading random completed HP stories on FF right now. I had found different ones that sounded interesting and just saved them. Now I'm at 150 and it won't let me save anymore, so I thought I'd better start weeding them out. Not too many I've read so far have been keepers, but Snape's Invisible Friend by teacherbev is very sweet. A beaten and bruised, 4-1/2 year-old Harry rescues himself from the Dursley's by apparating into Snape's quarters at Hogwarts. He can make himself invisible where only Snape can see him. Snape adopts him...yada..yada..yada. It has two sequels to it. I finished Growing Up Snape, which is Harry/Shaun at 5 and will be starting Shaun Snape, Age 8 soon. Harry/Shaun is just too cute in these. Very powerful baby Harry with Founders and Merlin showing up later. I guess that's more than enough from me tonight. Have a good evening, y'all!
