Black Phoenix Alchemy Lab has such awesome perfume oils. I don't get a chance to purchase much anymore with the whole unemployment situation, but back in the day, I was a BPAL whore.
With categories like Bewitching Brews, Funereal Oils, Carnaval Diabolique, and Sin & Salvation to name just a few, it's no wonder I got drawn in. I think I was first intrigued by the dark drawings depicting some of the categories, but once you read some of the descriptions of the oils, you can't help but be intrigued. They used to have an LJ forum alchemylab (which I need to remove off my profile since it closed in May), but now they have their own independant forum. I'm not connected with the company in any way...just as a fan.

Nothing much else to add. Just boring stuff. Babysat for a dog today. I think she's a French Bulldog. Her name is Casey and is 11. Gawds, can that dog snort and snore. Glad to be home and to the safety of LJ and slash (smile). Tomorrow night is an early dinner with the folks. They brought back frozen crappie (pronounced croppy and is fish) from Oklahoma that my aunt and uncle had caught. Fried up in a cornmeal mix with fried potatoes, fried apples...fried..fried..love that word! After dinner I've got a dog to let out on the other side of town. Exciting as watching mud dry on your shoes. Hope you all have a good evening! Oh..anyone ever listen to Mugglecast podcast? I like that show.

- Go to Venice and ride in a gondola twice-during a sunny day and as sun is setting
- Go to Zurich and visit my penpal Gaby, who I've been writing since 1979
- Go to Border counties of Scotland where my paternal ancestors are from-mostly Berwickshire
- Visit all the cemeteries in Oklahoma and Missouri where my ancestors are buried (big on genealogy)
- Go back and visit Copenhagen (won a trip around 1989 through soft drink company and took my mom for a week)
