Amy Lee is the lead singer of Evanescence, the multi-platinum selling, Grammy-winning band, who have recently released their new album The Open Door. Following the tremendous success of their debut album, Fallen, the band experienced some personnel changes and released Anywhere But Home (w/ bonus DVD), a live album and DVD. Though many have tried to pigeonhole Evanescence's sound, it continues to evolve, but one thing has stayed consistant: Amy Lee's stunning voice, and distinct piano playing. Amy kindly shared some of her influences and favorite albums with us; here's what she recommended. (Find more artists' picks on our main Music You Should Hear page, http://www.amazon.com/mysh)
