And that is no excuse! You can't keep blaming it on your Feanorian side every time you lose your temper. You're more then old enough to take responsibility for your own actions and not blame it on other factors.
Exactly, she doesn't know. She can only draw her own conclusions from what she does know. I know it hurts to talk about it but someday soon you will have to sit down with her and have a good talk to give her a idea how things were like. Only then can she see that the situation you had and the situation she is facing are quite different.
I made a rule for myself that I wouldn't talk about my problems with Mirime with Lindórië. I don't think a child needs to hear about how why their parents don't get on. She didn't need to hear about why I couldn't stand to be in the same room with her, she could have run away with the idea that some of that applied to her. Her mother's a part of her after all. It's a tough habit to break.
I just didn't realise it was such a big issue for her. I always thought she was all right about us being apart and looked on you as a father. How could I not notice something like that?
I think at that point she more likely said that to hurt you like you were hurting her. And unfortunately when that happens people tend to say thing they don't actually mean and regret them soon after.
No you don't and if you start wallowing about it I'll whop you up the head. :\
And that's exactly it, she's not little anymore and you can't keep treating her as such. And as such you can't withhold certain information from her anymore that you could do when she was a child. And you defenitely were not helping her when you practically ordered her to pack her things and go back to Mirime! That was very immature of you. As is the behaviour you are displaying now.

I hope you have already realized you were out of line there? Both of you were really. :\

Why did she have to bring up Mirime, she has no idea, NO IDEA what things were like between us, she wasn't even born when we married.

But I guess she's not a child anymore, is she? :(

She needs to know Mags, she needs you to tell her. You know if Mirime tells her she make it look like you are the bad guy.

I just don't understand it! We got on so well when she was little and now we just seem to upset eachother, I only want to help her! ;_;

I know, I KNOW, but it's hard. All of a sudden she's not my little girl anymore, it's a steep learning-curve.

What behaviour I'm displaying? I'm upset, I'm ashamed, of course I'm going to rant to get it out of my system, for fuck's sake!
