I do not believe they discriminated based on personality. If that were the case, I am fairly certain Vila would have far less reason to be so fearful of his safety.

I have had someone wish for me to help them conquer the universe as well. She was not precisely personable.

I was tempted by her... offerings not related to position. I have no desire to rule the universe, nor would I ever wish to. There are some matters I simply would not wish to take responsibility for. One would be the daily lives of a galactic population.
