Waiting for the sun

We found one day full of sun and fun. We are on the west coast of Thailand on the island of Koh Lanta. Our experience here has been the best so far in Thailand. Not only did we get a really nice hotel room, but we also got it for a great price of 500 baht. We got Air con, hot water and a nice big comfy bed with a real comforter on it. We have been sleeping really well. Our 2nd day we caught some nice sun shine and laid out on the beach, until keely got jealous of all the girls in their bikinis. So we had to drive to town to get her a bikini wax. 250 baht later she was free of hair so we took the opportunity to ride around the island on a bike. Not much here but nice beaches and resorts. The next day we went on a elephant trek, which was really exciting. We got to ride the elephant into the jungle for about 1/2 hr and the went on a trek to the tiger caves. I think we got the X-treme version because I mentioned the Cu Chi tunnels and I think the guide mistook it for "I want to go into really small muddy caves". It was fun but very muddy, also there was some sketchy bridges that we had to cross which Keely wasn't fond of. Covered in mud we got to go to a fresh spring where we got to bath and rinse of all the mud we collected in the caves. Then it was back on the elephant for the trek home. Once we were done we got to feed our elephant pineapples which was cute because you could tell this was the elephants favourite part. Tonight we are going to catch a thai boxing match where the #1 boxer in Thailand will be fighting. I am sure it will be a swift and bloody match for the champ!
